Located in the heart of the Bronx, NY, MOgridder’s BBQ is a barbecue station that cooks up truly American tasty treats. As a young boy, the restaurant’s creator, Fred Donnelly – aka “MOgridder” – had a dream to make others happy with food. He enjoyed barbecueing for friends and family so much that decided to embark on the ultimate smoked meat adventure: building a trailer to sell his specialties, and the rest is history!

Curiosity and a good reputation was what brought the New York Times, the Daily News and Time Out: New York to this BBQ destination. All three raved about MOgridder’s delightful entrees.

Next came the Food Network – Guy Fieri of the show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives experienced Freddy’s great smoked BBQ and enjoyed the experience so much that he listed MOgridder’s BBQ in his book Diners, Drive-ins and Dives: An All-American Road Trip. Then, the true food legend Emeril Lagasee invited Freddy to appear on his TV show about best barbecue and even used one of MOgridder’s BBQ rice recipes on air. Emeril later came back to film an episode for another food program about football and the food that people love to eat, including MOgridder’s world famous BBQ.
